Sail Spirit - Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings & afternoons Join one of the scheduled cruises onboard this exciting yacht for the perfect way to enjoy the famous sights and beautiful bays of Sydney. Designed, built and skippered by Iain Murray as the 'people's challenger' for the America's Cup in 1992, you can get in and help "grind" the winches or sit back and relax. James Craig - Saturdays/Sundays Sail back into the 19th Century aboard James Craig for the adventure of a lifetime. Oceanic Nature Watch on the Continental Shelf Have the chance to see birds, dolphins, whales and other sea creatures from the very stable platform of a 16-metre catamaran. With walk around decks, birds are attracted to the boat by chumming with pilchards etc as the boat moves slowly along the waters of the Continental Shelf located about 20 nautical miles off Sydney. The different species of wildlife will depend on the season and there are expert guides onboard to help you identify all the species encountered. There is a chance of seeing humpback, sperm and pilot whales during their migratory path to and from the northern waters of NSW and Queensland during the months May to July and August to November.
