There are many cruises around Australia,
from the quick trip around Sydney Harbour to a five day cruise in the Whitsunday's, and
many more. You can sail, go fishing, or cruise and enjoy the sights. Bookings are
essential for most cruises.
Sailing

Sit back and relax or get in and help with the sailing! Whether
you are practicing your skills or just out for a fun afternoon, this
is great for small groups, or individuals to get out on the Harbour
for little cost.
Using yachts on a
standby basis, and with minimum numbers onboard being 3 and maximum
7, we can keep
the costs low. No Experience Necessary, Skipper
onboard, BYO drinks & food, Bookings essential.
Leaving from the northside on a Catalina 320, there is
time for a leisurely sail to the Harbour Bridge and back.

Join one of the scheduled
cruises onboard this exciting yacht for the perfect way to enjoy the
famous sights and beautiful bays of Sydney. Designed, built
and skippered by Iain Murray as the 'people's challenger' for the
America's Cup in 1992, you can get in and help
"grind" the winches or sit back and relax.
Spirit can cruise in comfort
boasting teak laid decks, electric winches, self tacking jib and
full reefing main sail, or she can flaunt her full America's Cup
Class rig in an awesome display of power and speed. At 76ft in
length with an 18ft beam and a clean uncluttered deck she provides
an extremely large and spacious platform.
Time: Fridays -
1.30pm to 4.30pm/Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm & 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

cruises may be cancelled due to low numbers)

James Craig - Saturdays/Sundays
Sail back into the
19th Century aboard James Craig for the adventure of a lifetime.
Enjoy a day at sea
aboard this wonderfully restored example of a 19th Century square
rigger and experience sailing as it was meant to be. James Craig is one
of only four operational 19th Century barques, anywhere in the world
and the only one in the Southern Hemisphere
James Craig goes to sea, rain, hail or shine unless the Master makes a
decision that the seas are too severe for safety, in which case the
cruise will be cancelled and fares will be either refunded or a new
ticket issued.
In the interests of safety, children
under the age of 12 years are not permitted on cruises.
All prices include GST and include
morning and afternoon teas and a gourmet boxed lunch. The ship is licensed to sell alcohol and the bar will open at appropriate
times. No food or drink is permitted to be brought on board by
passengers.

Island Picnic & Cruise
This Cruise also takes in all the famous sights including the Opera
House, Harbour Bridge, Botanical Gardens and the city skyline. We
then cruise the Eastern Suburbs including Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters
Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse Bay, Watsons Bay and Camp Cove. We look out
through Sydney Heads and then take you to one of the Harbour
islands, (Shark, Clarke or Rodd depending on weather) for a picnic
lunch or dinner. Your party (up to four people) is dropped on the
island with your gourmet hamper full of goodies. We then pick you up
for the return trip

Cruises start again in May
2008
Join the catamaran "Halicat"
to venture outside Sydney Heads to view the Humpback whales as they
pass by on their way north. Many other sea creatures are also
sighted including pilot whales, sunfish, albatrosses, seals,
dolphins and many more. Expert guides are on board to help
identify all the species encounter. Don't forget the camera!!
If the sea conditions are unfavourable, the trip will be
rescheduled.

Oceanic Nature Watch on the Continental Shelf
Have the chance to see birds, dolphins, whales and other sea
creatures from the very stable platform of a 16-metre catamaran. With walk around decks,
birds are attracted to the boat by chumming with pilchards etc as the boat moves slowly
along the waters of the Continental Shelf located about 20 nautical miles off Sydney. The
different species of wildlife will depend on the season and there are expert guides
onboard to help you identify all the species encountered. There is a chance of seeing
humpback, sperm and pilot whales during their migratory path to and from the northern
waters of NSW and Queensland during the months May to July and August to November.
