Game Fishing & Fishing Cruises MV Joe Joe provides the ideal cruiser for some of the world's greatest fishing adventures. All fishing tackle and equipment is included and available; from heavy tackle 130lb & 80 lb through medium and light rods and reels.(Shimano & Penn International reels)
Fishing options include: Day Trips: Out of Port Douglas. Fish along the outer reef at Linden Bank, Opal Reef and St Crispins reef for Marlin, Wahoo, Dolphin fish, Tuna, Mackerel. Out of Sydney Harbour to the famous Canyons and Sea Mountains both south and north, Fishing for Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Tuna and other pelagic species. Depart at 08.00 hrs returning 16.30 hrs. Live on board in luxury with your every need catered for. Fish a different section of the Australia's east coast every day. Anchoring behind the reef in sheltered water or in nearby harbours to relax in the late afternoon. Swim and snorkel next morning then back outside to continue with the next fishing adventure. Lizard Island: Out of Port Douglas fish up to the island usually taking 2 or 3 days, anchoring at night behind the reef. Live aboard in the lagoon at Lizard or go ashore and relax in the famous Lizard Island Lodge (bookings must be made in advance). Fishing day trips and returning each night. Cruise back to Port Douglas (approx. 8 hours). Another option is to fly to Lizard Island and either live on the Island or live aboard. (Relocation fee applies). Fishing day trips from Lizard Island or overnight trips to other beautiful locations. Mother Ship: Comfortable mother ships are available for larger corporate groups and conferences. Seaplane transfers can be arranged to most popular offshore destinations. mv Joe Joe and mother ship would be ready and waiting on your arrival. Booking's for this option would have to be made well in advance. This would be the ultimate Great Barrier Reef trip of a lifetime. Allow at least 5-7 days or longer. Scuba Diving An accredited diving organisation provides all scuba diving services aboard mv Joe Joe. It is a PADI International Resort Association member, which works exclusively with luxury chartered vessels. Their personnel, equipment and standards are complimentary to the individual attention, exclusivity, privacy and safety that mv Joe Joe guests talk about. We will facilitate your dream scuba diving adventure! Scuba diving experiences and education are our passion. We will show you the Great Barrier Reef and wonder of the underwater world. If you have never scuba dived or if you want to become a scuba diving instructor we will help you fulfill your desires.
