QE2’s swansong arrival in Sydney on February 24 will come exactly 30 years to the day since her first visit to the harbour city on February 24, 1978, and will also coincide with a spectacular visit to Sydney of Cunard’s latest Queen, the grand new 90,000-ton Queen Victoria.

23 February 08  
0530 Queen Victoria enters through Sydney Heads
0700 Queen Victoria berths at Overseas Passsenger Terminal at Sydney Cove
24 February 08  
0530 QEII enters through Sydney Heads
0700 QE II berths at Garden Island west side
1830 Both vessels pass at Fort Dennison - Queen Victoria on the south side heading out, QEII on north side heading to Sydney Cove
25 February 08  
1830 QEII departs
   
Note:
- there is an exclusion zone in place from the Harbour Bridge to Cremorne Point from 6pm to 7pm on 24th
- there are no fireworks
