Coral Sea Resort This is located on the headland right next to Able Point Marina - you can walk across the sand or take a taxi up and over the hill (they don't mind short trips up there). It has excellent views with a large 25 metre pool and licenced cafe (with breakfast) and a Jetty Restaurant with all the features of a hotel.
Whitsunday On-the-Beach Holiday Units Located right in the middle of Airlie Beach alongside the Airlie Beach Lagoon, has self contained apartments with cooking facilities etc. No restaurant attached, but plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast if you didn't want to cook your own. Rooms are a good size.
